5.0 cobra slower than my car

I drove a 94 cobra the other day with 120000 miles on it. It was greatly slower than my car(signature) does this sound about right or is there something wrong with the cobra. It is completly stock except the filter. It is the one i might buy for 4500 $.

seems right to me. The 94's and 95's were heavier cars then the fox platform.

my 94 cobra feels like a mid 15 sec car, but I did get it to run a 14.6. they are not fast, but they fell solwer than they are

The Fox platform feels faster than it is, probably because the chassis is a little too flexible.

The SN series cars address some of the flexibility and this takes the feeling of 'fast-ness' away.

I have a feeling your 3.55 gears had something to do with it as well. They seem to increase the Seet Of The Pants feeling.
