I have a 68 Mustang Convertible which currently has a 302. I am converting to an 89 5.0 out of a Mustang also. What I am running into in the distributor. I had to change the gear from the 5.0 distributor to the original 302 distributor before installing it in the 5.0 (due to the cam) - the shaft is narrower than the gear so I'm in a bind. What do you suggest I do? I've never done anything like this before, but have been doin ok until now.
