5.0 in a 1991 Mercury Capri? Info needed

Will a Ford 302 V8 fit in a 1991 Mercury Capri? Does anyone have any links/info on this swap? How much would it cost? Would I have to pull the A/C?

Anybody know???

Oh, are their any other engines that would fit in the Capri?

No way

The '91 Mercury Capri has nothing in common with the 79-86 Capris. It's FWD and tiny.

The 91 is a front drive. It can be done, but....

There are some conversions for Mazda Miata's, called Monster Miatas, I think.

Otherwise, this maybe a candidate for Monster Garage....

There is a guy in my town that has a 5.0, t-5, 8.8 rear in his 88 ford escort. Looks pretty funny but sounds good.
