I know there are a hundred disc threads but im trying to get this done all in one shot. Id like to do the junkyard swaps and im wondering the best way to go about a 5 lug AND rear disc brake conversion at the same time. I see a lot of threads about how to do the two individually but i just dont have much experience with brakes and dont want to screw it up. any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sn95 rear disks is the best way...I say that due to the availability of parts, cheapness of replacement rotors and pads and amount of technical support for the conversion. No need to reinvent the wheel...ford did it right in 1994.

With that said, simply read one of the other billion threads about sn95 rear disks.

Yea find somebody parting out a 94-98 V6 mustang. it's a 7.5 rear end but come with the same calipers/rotors/axle shafts you'll find in a 8.8. I say go with the 6 cylinder because you can get them cheaper most of the time. I know I did. Doing my 5 lug/rear disc swap right now.

I found a guy scrapping an SVO (yes yes, I know...OMG A SVO!!! WHY WHY!! it was very rusted). I scabbed the axles, backing plates, rotors, calipers and everything else I wanted and swapped them onto my 87 Turbo Coupe rear end. Gave me 11.3" vented rotors and monster pads.

Just another idea...
