Id go with junkyard parts except the struts (get new '87-'93 struts) and brake pads.
'94-'95 Mustang (v6/GT/Cobra) spindles, calipers, rotors, caliper hoses and hubs.
'86(maybe older than that too)-'92 Ranger left rear axles (need two lefts) and drums. Truck cant have 4.0 V6 (different rearend).

Youll need an adapter for the right front caliper hose- www.maximummotorsports.com and balljoint spacers- www.breezeautomotive.com .

There is a kit but it requires 87 and up front spindles.

Go to the boneyrad and get 87 to 93 front spindles. You can get Rotors from any year Lincoln Mark 7 and take the calipers as well. Find a ranger as stated above and get the left axles and drums.

You get 5 lug and better braking due ot larger roters and bigger piston calipers.

I think you can actually just use ranger rotors (85-92 20-40 dollars each from parts store) in the the front on an 82. Thats what i did on my 85 works just fine. For the rear use ranger drums (85-92 20-40 dollars each from parts store). and two drivers side axles or two left side aerostar axles (Junk yard 40-100 each) I actually used 00' gt axles but im not running rear brakes.

FWIW If he wants to stay with 10" rotors yes the Ranger ones would work. 11" rotors are better and with the 73mm MK 7 calipers it does make for a cheap brake upgrade along with 5 lugs.

They well fit but check out this site for instructions for installation. These are the best way to get even better braking and to fit the newer Mustang wheels.
