Yes. Using the 96 spindles will push your front track width out a little farther than the 94-95 spindles would, but it's definitely doable. The axles may be a hair too long without rolling the lips around the wheel wells though. The front brakes probably won't be too much of an improvement over the stock 92 brakes since they're still a single piston caliper, but you'll gain the rear disk with the V6 brakes (they're the same as the 94-98 GT's brakes). If you happen to hear that the V6 has a 7.5" rear end, don't worry, the axles are the same as the 8.8" has, and you can use them in your 8.8.

Another option is to use Ranger disks and rear drums . Just remeber you need 2 drivers side Ranger axles or two passenger side Areostar axles for this.

The Ranger swap works great. But I used PBR duals up front with the lines. My notch stopping power rivals my Cobra. No joke!

PBRs are aluminum dual Piston Calipers found on the front of 99-04 V6 and GTs.

The 99-04 PBR's will work on all 94-04 spindles. IF you use them on the 94-95 spindles...you must grind the end of the spindle where the caliper will hit it.

bolt up the bottom part of the caliper bracket to the spindle. Try to bolt the top on up to the spindle...and you will see where the piston hits the edge of the spindle. Eyeball it, then grind it down. It only takes a few seconds per side. You don't need to grind down too much.

You can look on Ford Racings Web Page and look up the M-2300-K Kit, you will find the Directions for Modifying your Handbrake and the P/N of the Cables for the year of your car as the 87-92 use one style and the 93s use another.
