I am wanting to do a 5spd conversion in a 65 Falcon. The car is a C4 now. I have factory stick pedals for the Falcon as well as a stick setup for a cable and a 28 0z. 5spd from a 93 mustang that I figured I could start with. I have a 289 now. Who should I buy the rest of the kit/parts from to do this conversion? Thank you in advance for sharing your experiance with this.

jeff, there is one problem with the T5 into a falcon swap, and that is using the mustang T5 puts the shifter right where a stiffening member is. this means you either cut that member apart to make the shifter opening, or swap on a tail shaft from an S-10 T5. the other problem is if you have bench seats the mustang shifter location hits the seat. you can solve this by either swapping the S-10 tail shaft, or modding the shift lever accordingly.

Thank you for the input. I have printed your notes and I will go over it with my tranny guy.
Thanks again,
Jeff
