5 speed questions

Kona Blue / w pony package.. looks like a Mach1

i just picked up a 2010 v6 with 5 speed trans...
someone installed a short thro shifter ....
i hear a clunking / poping noise when i take off..
it almost sounds like the body in a bind
might be drive shaft / u joint, butit doesnt sound / feel like it
also is this clutch Hydraulic

and i noticed the throwout bearing makes a lite noise i nutral
