hey, i was wondering if anyone had a parts list for doing the 5lug swap?

i want to upgrade my brakes while im at it as well, and i have heard rumor of people using lincon mark VIII ( or something ) rotors and calipers due to major size increase over stock size, and wondered if anyone has done this, too.

ALSO wanted to ask what all is required for the 8.8 swap? wanna get an 8.8, and swap it in and stick on some 5 lug rotors on it. Throwing a tubular k-member on it while im at it. I'm in the process of buying parts for a complete suspension overhaul / brake overhaul.

engines take forever to get set up, and trannies are tough too, but the suspension is definatly something i can do quickly, as long as i got a complete parts list and dont have to stop midway through it, ya know? any thing helps, thanks.

A 5 lug swap does not require a 8.8, but this site has all the info you need for a swap. The Mark VII had a 73mm piston in the caliper and a 11"rotor. You will need 5.0 spindles for the swap too. Hope this helps.

yea, I know it's not required, but I'm going to swap to an 8.8 anyways, cuz I will be installing a turbo motor before the end of summer, so might as well do it all at once I say

Hey Shinlee, unless you got a screaming deal on that 8.8, think about keeping the 7.5" Unless you plan on building a Huber-esque wheelstanding fire breathing all out race car, you're not going to hurt that 7.5.

i wanted the 8.8 with a t-loc, hate spinning just one wheel, so unless you got some good ideas with that 7.5 of mine on some fixes, i dont see another way

Get a 7.5 T-loc from a Bronco II or Ranger. I picked up one from EBay a while back. I need throw a new set of clutches in it, but other than that, I'm good to go.
