Vortech is one of the best companies for blowers. I have a Vortech S-trim. 5psi is not a lot of boost. You'll feel the difference but it wont be pushing you into your seat. If your talking about the kit, I think they are advertised as 5-6psi but there's more there.

If your keeping the engine stock, that about the boost you would be getting. Change the TB, MAF, Intake and you'll probably hit 10psi. I would go for the Vortech

I believe the only kit Vortech sells for the 94-95GT is the HO kit which comes with the S-trim. If you install just the kit, with no PowerPipe or MAF, then you will see around 7-8psi.

I bet that's the A trim, I wouldn't buy it if it was me. Go for the S trim, its a much more efficient blower for when you want to turn the wick up... and you will!!!

Yea it seems everyone that buys the smaller Vortechs almost always upgrade to a larger S, R, or T trim. I would just save a little more money and get the S-trim kit.

im gonna agree here...why would you want to get the smaller blower which will allow for no growing room when the time comes to turn up the boost (and like Paul said you will)....the Strim will allow you to run a safe level of boost, even for a stock motor(7-8psi) and then allow for much more when the time comes....

I am also thinking about getting that new trick flow kit either before or after this blower, so I am pretty sure I will be satisfied...but even if I'm not what would it cast to upgrade to an S trim in a year or two?

No one (exept powerdyne) makes the "cheap kits" for the 94/95s. The only new Vortech available is the 3,000+ dollar S-trim which is obviously a great blower but more money than the <2,000 model you are talking about (which is fox only)

I think It will cost around $400-800 to upgrade from an A-trim to and S-trim. Its not worth the extra money. If you want you can piece a Vortech kit together like I did. It comes out cheaper. I bought my headunit and brackets for about $1000, everything else was upgrading like fuel system, MAF, intake. Check Ebay, they have great prices on Headunits.

I would piece it together but I have NO knowledge of superchargers, and what parts they require like tubing and everything else...
