5th gear whining/squealing

Well, 5,000 miles after getting my 5th gear/reverse gear replaced it has started to whine and squeal really bad when you put it in 5th and give it gas to accelerate.

Think it's a bearing or what? Ford put it in wrong? Reverse is a little harder to get into as well.

I would check the fluid level right away.

Take it back regardless to be evaluated. I would guess that it is a bearing problem...

I'm going to check it tonight before I leave work and drop it off at the dealer on my way home then just check with them tomorrow about it.
