My 65 was originally an I6 car, so I don't know exactly where the 289 V8 badges are supposed to be placed. I am actually going to put the retro style 302 ones that are available now on my car. Can someone give me a few measurements of theirs, so I can get them positioned correctly?

I just found it on Mustang Monthly website in their how to section.

It is 1 1/4 inches below the ridge on the fender and 4 1/4 inches behind the headlight bucket.
