reassembly started today--

the build list--

4 wheel discs- all 2 piece rotors and hats---

13" front with outlaw 4000xd calipers and coleman racing 13x1.25" rotors

12" rear rotors with integral wilwood ebrake hidden inside rear hat.

coilovers all 4 corners- Tcp front complete suspension

Rack + Pinion steering - Steeroids or TCP (only item not bought yet!)

8.8 diff from 94 mustang- narrowed- C-clip changeover to bolt in axles- Penske rear shocks -

Custom rear 4 link setup - 3.7 frpp gears - posi-

17x8 front wheels- , 17x9 rears COYS- and NOT rolling the wheel lips. it "should" fit!

5.0 efi- ceramic coated headers- x-pipe stainless mandrel bend exhaust. RMP engine mounts or DIY similar..

alum rad- black magic fan- pro 5 shifter - king cobra clutch-

dynaformance stacked injection and engine management- i like the "stacks"

ISIS wiring harness with iLink for remote control- You can program everything- how long your fan runs afterwards- the remote will disable the efi AND whatever else you want it to-

finished painting the front spindles today and will start on front brakes tomorrow.

i'd have to go out to the shop and measure it but i believe its the same width as a 67 diff.. got too many numbers in my head.. 65" width- less axle- plus 2.5 offset for bolt on retainers- .180 thou for rotor hat- etc.. i have 3 measurements
bare diff
axle flange (bolt on axle new style ford big bearing)
outside of hub face - with 2 pce rotor at 180 thou TH.

we did a lot of measuring and without looking in my toolbox i recall the rearend was going to be 1" narrower than the 8" i took out- to compensate for the offset of the 17x9 coys that are 4.75 BS..
these wheels are supposed to fit an unflared 67-8 car and the dealer told me they would fit a 66.. but not with 275's on them.. without rolling the lip..

i believe all fox body mustangs are same width- explorers similar and the explorers come most with 3.7 lsd.. most mustangs are 3.23 or so ..
and 4 bangers dont have lsd ..
