Hey,

I am in the process of restoring my 65 coupe and I had a couple of questions. For my heater motor, how do I tell if I have a three speed or two speed setup? Also can I convert a two speed setup to a three speed?

Thanks

I think the number of wires (2 for 2 speed). went through my heater box 2 yrs ago. I think I used it once since then.

3 speed fan has 4 positions on the fan switch, with off being in the full left position. 2 speed has 3 positions, with off being in the middle.

As odd as it sounds it is two wire for three speed, three wire for two speed (one of which is the ground).

I knew about the three wire and two distinguising qualities however, would I have to look at my heater switch to find out if my setup is a two speed or three speed?
