Hello all, Im 17 years old and still learning things so lets jump in. I have a 65 Mustang that I am restoring, one problem I have ran into is that I am tall and of bigger build so the steering wheel hits and rest on my legs when I sit in the seat. Is there a tilt column that I can buy, or get out of another car?

Yes ,it is an aftermarket and some cutting is involved but it is fairly simple .Flaming river and I Didit are the ones to look for.

you can also find a tilt column in a salvage yard from something like a granada and adapt it to fit. the best way to go is the ididit column though as it is pretty much all set up for you to install, you just need to modify your wiring slightly, and ididit supplies the proper diagram.
