65 to 69 Fuel Tank

Would like to have a 20 or 22 gallon tank in my 65 coupe. The 69 fuel tank has the same length / width dimensions but will the filler neck work?

Filler tube will have to be cut to get the proper length and angle but it does work

AI believe you referencing the 65 filler neck to be modified. If i purchase the 70 neck will it have the correct angle?

They both have to be modified i believe ,i know the for the 69 it does

I think CJs offers a conversion filler neck as well. I just made my own.

You all remember the story of them cheating with the Mustang filler necks right?
Back in the day when Smoky had 20 some odd feet of fuel like under his seat track
The Ford boys in Trans Am had installed filler necks that were 12 inches in diameter
