65mm tb w/ stock EGR plate= bad??

Yesterday I installed a converted explorer 65mm tb, but haven't gotten a chance to try to port a stock EGR plate to 65 mm, so I'm now wondering if the 65mm hole is too large w/ the stock egr, and I could be leaking coolant into the intake tract, etc.
Is this possible? The car has been running fine since the install, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing any damage!

the EGR spacer is a restriction and should be opened up or replaced, but I doubt you have a leak if your running good and not loosing coolant.

Yeah, you won't see any performance gain until the hole in you EGR is the same size as your TB. As fas as coolant goes, you are probably okay.

What I did notice is that the idle (in park) is around 1150.
Should I adjust the stop screw or just leave it alone?

Yea, it sounds like you need a little adjustment to fix that surge.

What i meant to say was you should try to adjust your tps.

Actually I adjusted the idle stop screw and it fixed it just fine. The TPS is brand new pretty much.
Seems all better now!

Now that you moved the idle set screw - you should check/set the TPS as it DID change with idle set screw setting.

point taken.
Will do that tomorrow.
By the way, at my brother-in-laws shop, he has a router built upside-down into a workstation, and used 4 different bits and alot of WD-40 to bore the stock EGR to 65 mm, and it's smooth as a baby's bottom! Took about 10 minutes!
