Engine EGR spacer for explorer 65mm TB?

Hey guys, I just scored a 65mm throttle body which was already modified for a foxbody mustang. I also got a pro m MAF sensor which was recently recalibrated.

I do have a bbk 65 mm EGR spacer, but is mating surface is pretty beat up. Is that my only option?

Edit: This will likely be used on a stock 87-93 intake manifold. But one day might go with an explorer intake manifold.
