66 Dash Lights not as strong

Recently restored my 66 and am not able to get much light to my gauges. I replaced all the bulbs yet am not able to get as much light to the gauges as I would like. I know that if you turn the light knob clockwise or counter that adjusts them however it does very little to brighten.

I appreciate everybodys input.

That's as good as it gets unfortunately. I have heard of people removing the blue lenses from inside the cluster but have not done it myself. I just live with dim gauges!

I repleaced my light switch and was able to get a bit more light to the gauges. Still pretty dim though. Looking at installing some Autometer's in the near future.
