For some reason the drivers door window doesnt line up correctly. It is pushed out about 1/4" and doesnt seal on the upper weatherstrip. Anyone know how to fix this? These are original doors. The passenger side fit like a charm. The rear 1/4 window on the drivers side is fine as well.

I thought the upper part of the door needed to be adjusted at the hinges. but no luck there.

Im guessing I need to adjust the upper stop on the window as well...it is down just a bit. Even pushing the glass up all the way doesnt solve the weatherstrip problem. It is angled out.

there will be 2 stops that effect the height of the window in the front and one in the back.

you will also need to loosen the rear window guide and angle it so the window is angled correctly. if you open the door and look at the side where the VIN is, there should be some caps to pop off to loosen/tighten some nuts and then you can shift it. the top cap should give you access to the top stop, using a nut and an allen wrench

yep...drip rails are shaved. They are still pretty rough, it needs a lot of bodywork. It should be fine as long as the window seals.
