Hello everybody. I haven't been on here in quite a while. I'm not even sure how long its been. Guess thats what happens when my car just sits in the garage and collects dust.
Anyway,
My brother is most likely buying my niece (almost 14 years old right now) a nice little 66 with a I6 and three speed in it. What are some tranny options for it. My brother had a 66 with a 3 speed for his first car, and he hated the tranny. So he would like to upgrade it before he gives her the car. I know plenty about the V8 motors and trans, but very little about the I6 stuff. What about a T5 out of a later model 4 banger? Is there a bell that will bolt to the trans and to the old I6? Thanks for any ideas.
