Can anyone help me. My father had a 66 stang and sold it later on in his life. I would now like to find this stang and repurchase this for my father. I have the VIN # but don't know how to go about tracking it down. It was built in Dearborn, MI. Thanks Tom

Modern title sources such as Carfax will not be able to help you as their computers dont handle vin numbers less than 17 digits. My suggestion is to contact a local auto title office in the state that it was registered the last time your dad owned the car. They may be able to track it down from there.
