66 Paint on Door

Getting ready to paint my '66 convt. Going with Wimbeledon White and Red/Maroon pony interior. The doors will be red but I am not certain how that scheme will work. Would the door be all red or would the jams on the door be white? Anyone have any pictures I can see of a two color pony scheme?

Paint the exterior color to the weather strip.

I don't know why, but it looks like the red REALLY outweighs the white in that pic. Almost seems like the carpet and console should be white.

That car is actually a red car with white accents. You could do the two tone seats (red/white) to lighten it up.

I'm with you. The red seems too strong. Maybe if the seats were two-tone it might soften it a little.
