67 428 radiator

Doesa anybody know if the radiator in a 67 Shelby was the same as a 390 radiator or did Shelbys folks change them out? Id of figured the 390 job would do nice. Also, whats a good one to replace in there to keep it pretty cool ? Anybody ??

I used a 68 428cj rad in my 66 with a 408 small block making just under 600hp and a electric fan and it worked great. I nver had a problem with it running hot as a matter of fact the car would run at 180 degrees constant no matter what the conditions were. But now I use fluidyne radiators in all my cars (aluminum) You cant beat them.
