67/68 Convertible owners, please help.

I'm looking for someone with a 67 or 68 convertible, a tape measure, and a willingness to go out to the garage and measure something for me. I need the distance from the base of the windshield (frontmost edge of the dashpad inside the car) back to the drip rail (where the convertible top tack sticks bolt on), measured along the centerline of the car. I hope that makes sense to someone here. Doesn't have to be exact, nearest half inch is fine. Thanks in advance.

I meant to do this when I got home on Friday evening, and now I won't be able to until Tuesday.

Hopefully, someone else will be able to do this for you before then, but I've put it on my to do list.

Out of curiosity and if you don't mind my asking, what do you need this information for?

If he's trying to get rid of body sag, then I'm betting your number will be more reliable than mine since my first bodyshop was less than great.

I am trying to get rid of body sag, but I'm going with diet and more exercise to deal with that The reason I need the measurement is I'm ordering material to make a tonneau cover and don't have access to my car to see how much I need.

There actually is a company manufacturing these out there, I think LRS or CJP would be able to help you out if you wanted to purchase one already manufactured.
