I am replacing all the aprons on my 67. The ones I currently have in it are all crappy hand bent panels with holes drilled for the fender bolts. I have just replaced the drivers side front apron with a brand new one. I have managed to locate and cut the holes for the fender by putting it in place and finding the mounting points that way.

My question is what is the size of the hole to allow for the hood to fender rubber bumper that goes in the fender. I know it is a square hole, but I don't know anything other than that. Could someone give me the measurements for it and about where it is located? I know it could move a bit depending on where the fender lines up. I just want to have the proper stock dimensions.

Thanks

i took pictures but they may be hard to see, starting at the cowl top about 2 inches from the edge were the litle rise is measure to the front of the radiator support is 44 and 1/4 inches, across the front at the radiator support is 40 and 3/4 inches
at the cowl behind the hinges side to side is 40 inches these are all inside the panel measurements except the radiator support that is to the front of it. the cut outs for the hood bumpers are 1 and 1/4 inches long and 1 inch side to side wide , i measured three cars and believe it or not they all have different measurements, but all within a 1/8 inch one way or the other so if your with in an 1/8 inch of these measurements you should be good

That's helps quite a bit, thanks for the reply. I know that the actual location may vary depending on how the fenders and hood fit, but I at least wanted to get the holes the right size since I don't have an example to look at.
