was wondering if anyone can give some pointers on where to start on a 67 convertible rust bucket. What I have been told so far is I need to get the body sitting level (will probaly need to jack up center tunnel), rebuild or replace door hinges, make sure doors work like new and body lines are straight etc., brace up the inside of the body from front windshield frame to driveshaft tunnel do same from inside of rear quarters to tunnel. I was told to do this so the car doesnt bend or flex when i remove the floor pans. this car is in pretty bad shape (most ppl would send it to scrap) most sheet metal will need to be replaced. Just need some advice on best way to get car level and best way to keep car from twisting when I start to remove rusted sheet metal. thanks for any help
