67 Drip Rail Chrome installation

Don't worry about scratching the piss outta the car, you may have to do it to get them on. Depending on how thick the paint is. If it's too thick, it just won't go on.
OK. easiest way is two people, men. A man's man. It's gonna make you cry. Line the strip up as if it where on already, to line up the curves. Once it's on, moving it will be next to impossible without ruining it. Once the curves are lined up, go to the back half of the strip and start there. Clip the top up and over the drip rail, and the person holding will pull down at the same time. The other " Man's man", strikes the bottom of the molding with the bottom of their palm. Once you get it started, the person holding will move to, just past the last part that is clipped on, and pull down. Repeat until done, or until that man's man is crying. It does hurt, but you CANNOT use a hammer. It will dent that piece in a heartbeat. Rich and I usually switch off. And as one is done crying, ties it again. Sometimes they are quick, and sometimes you just can't take anymore and have to try the next day.
