67 Shelby Paxton-how much

An original really isn't worth anything unless you have an original Shelby you are restoring. Paxton probably still rebuilds them and might even be able to upgrade the internals and keep it stock looking outside. The new kits which are more efficient will cost closer to $3,0000 or more when you're done because you have to buy a special carb. or modify yours along with nickel and dime stuff.

Paxton will not touch them, they will refer you Paradise and you can upgrade to a VR4 impellar which maxes at 15 psi i think

I had first series old SN blower that I installed on my former 66 Shelby clone. It had been removed from a friends real Shelby and I purchased it about 8 yrs ago for $500. I installed it about 1.5 yrs ago and it did not work well at all. Boost was under 5lbs and the air charge was too hot that it actually made less overall power in the upper RPM bands.
I listed it on ebay about one year ago and it sold for $2800. Albeit, it was fully complete with all brackets and carb housing. It was a nice item but only for show. You are better off buying the new stuff.

OK, i found one, buy they want 1,000 for it and the air feed tube. The hat is incorrect.
Does anybody reproduce the carb hat that is roundish with COBRA logo on the top??

It was working the way ot should.Shelby's didnt see over 5-6 psi and any blower, any make, as it compresses, the air will get hotter.
