I am down to a couple items on the restoration of my 67 fastback and the steering wheel is giving me fits. There is a 1/4” gap between the steering wheel and the column. I have read about adjusting the column and I have tried that but the column hits the bearing at the top and I can’t get the gap to reduce. Any thought?
