68 hood stripe question

I was just curious what kind of paint combos there where with the hood only stripe. I think the stripe only came in black and was from the vents to the end of the front.

If you have a turnsignal hood, and have to have stripes, that is the one to go with. I think that the black was the only way it came, but don't hold me to that.

Ya I saw that. I was just wondering what different colors the body came in to compliment the black stripes

As far as I know the 68 hood stripes were available with all body colors, no restriction is mentioned in any Ford literature I have seen.

The stripes themselves were available in any color you wanted, as long as you wanted black.

This was generally true, except in 1970:
