68 P/S Pitman arm work on Manual Conversion?

I am in the process of swapping my power steering over to manual steering. Can I reuse my pitman arm when I put in the manual centerlink?

Nope you can't.You have to change the pitman arm,drag/center link,idler arm.Power and manual have slightly different parts.

If you use a drag link adapter instead of swapping to a M/S centerlink you could re-use your pitman arm. Drag link adapters thread on to your existing P/S centerlink in place of the control valve.

I did this conversion on my '66 coupe years ago. I replaced only the drag link and tie rod ends with a manual assembly from a local Mustang parts supplier. It worked flawlessly. No issues.
