My mustang came with a 4speed Wide ratio Trans. I have a 1969 351W rebuilt for it, tyring to find a 4speed Wide ratio Trans. But i have a HUGE problem. I needto balance the engine so i need a flywheel. What size flywheel do i need.

It came from the factory with a 28 oz offset, cast iron, 164 tooth flywheel and 11" clutch. If you don't have the original bell housing you could use a scattershield. The smaller 157 tooth flywheel will bolt up but would require a matching smaller bell housing, and if it's a late model flywheel, you'll also need to switch the starter for an automatic application. You might consider a new steel unit instead of a 40 year old cast iron piece that's been heat cycled thousands of times. Many of them have cracks or heat (blue) spots that are harder than the surrounding material.
