Coupe

Convertable

Fastback

I really like these years so any insight will help greatly. I would like to see some really tricked out pics of these models.

Coupes, you can see out the rear window and the top doesn't leak.

i somewhat take pride in my photo gallery. i hope the pics here help.
i my self like the coupe, specificly the grande. but thats what i own, so i'm a little bias.
the coupe is much cheaper to get your hands on thats for sure!! i really think if i had the cash at the time id have gotten a sportsroof though!

Well, I like 69's over 70's for sure. I am partial to convertibles myself for cars I only drive in really nice weather, however, the styling of the Mach 1 Sportsroof is pretty hard to beat and pretty much the first model that comes to mind for just about anyone you mention the term 69' Mustang to that much is certain. I ended up compromising by adding Mach 1 (and some GT) type styling cues to vert and so I have the best of both worlds.

(I hate to be the first, but you did ask for some pics.)

It's a matter of personal preferences...

Daily Driver - coupe, no blindspots like fastback

weekender/show car - All will do, but would be more likely a fastback or a convertible - subjective to owner's taste

Great views while driving - convert, of course!

Racing - coupe - it's lighter.

Best in what? Price wise the coupe's are the cheapest. Increased value over time a sportsroof Mach 1 or Boss would be the way to go. Convertibles fit right in the middle.

If budget is a concern, the coupe is the way to go. Take a decent coupe to a mustang show and you'll almost always win something, as there are so few of them entered. Those guys with the sportsroof, just want to part them out... a shame.
