Is it possible to take the front fenders from a 69 fastback and put them on a 70 fastback. Obviously you will have to replace some of the nose pieces and the grill so that everything matches up correctly. 69 dual light look rather than the 70 style. I want the But is it possible and also is it reasonably easy to manage?

Reasonable? Depends how clever you are with sheetmetal. The 69 fenders must have the front bucket cut out and replaced with a 70 bucket. Then of course there's the lack of a marker light hole.

Or do you want to put the 69 grille and lights on a 70? You'll have to replace the radiator support, or at least modify it to clear the 69 lights.

Basically I dont like the marker lights on either side of the 70 where the 69 headlights are generally positioned. And then yes I would like the grill so that it has the fog lights in. I just like the 1969 nose with the lights on the outside rather than the inside. So whats your take on my options?

The 69 does not, and never had even as an option, fog lights.

The 70 had "Sport Lamps", on the mach1 only.

On the 69 the lights in the grille are high beams.

I would just leave it be. If you want a 69 then sell the 70 and get a 69.
