The 1967-1969 Mustang and Cougar use the same power linkage system, regardless of engine size. There us a slight difference in a crook of the idler arm end of the centerlink between 1967-1968 and the 1969, but it doesn't affect anything. There will be a difference in the pressure hose between 1967 and later models due to the size of the pressure port on the control valve, just make sure you get the hose for the correct year.

You can also use the 1970 Mustang/Cougar linkage if you convert to 1970 inner tie rod ends.

The linkage off of any other Ford (Maverick, Granada, etc) has different lengths and geometry, so stick with the Mustang/Cougar.
