Greetings all,
I have a 69 Mach 1, and it's getting harder and harder to replace my windshield wiper blades. Many of the auto parts stores are going away from carrying blade refills and only carry the complete wiper assemblies. My wiper arms are original, and I love the way they look, but the only refills I can now find are cheap and don't work for very long or very well. This is probably a silly question, but what is the best way to upgrade my wipers? Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

Regards,
Mike

Even if they don't have them in stock, they can order them, or you can order them yourself online and just go pick them up locally. As long as you get name brand parts, they should last as long as any modern ones. I bought mine from Advanced Auto, and they've held up very well.

One thing I don't recommend is getting NOS replacements. I bought a set that were still in the late 60s era box. They lasted through two rain storms in a two week period, then disentgrated.

Trico Classic series are still available. They have the silver metal part that looks correct.

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks for letting me know about them.

Most Mustang shops have them. Advance Auto Parts has them too.
