For a daily driver with a few mods; holley 570 avenger, edelbrock top end kit, bbk longtubes, o/r xpipe, and flowmaster catback, will a 7.5 be good enough if i want to put in 3.55 or should i go to a 8.8? I'm not going to be doing any racing, or any of that stuff. Thanks

For just a driver it'll probably hold up but i personally wouldn't put any money into one when it's pretty easy to find an 8.8 to swap in.

+1. the 7.5 will hold up, especially if you keep out of the gas, but personally i'd just swap an 8.8 under there cause they're a dime a dozen.

ya i'v already found a few with the gears i'm looking for already in them. What are my options if i wanted to go rear disks? Since i might change the rear out anyways.

look for a t-bird turbo coupe rear end if you want rear disc. not only will they be factory 4 lug rear disc, but they'll either have 3.55's if the car was a 5 speed or 3.73's if it was an AOD.

E-brake cables probably and that should be it. I've never done it personally but its probably just ebrake cables and maybe brake lines?
