7.5 rear question

Stinger is correct, you have an open and so do I. the rear is drum brakes and 4 lug hopefully you have the 15 inch wheel option with ten holes.

The 3.73's in there are the ONLY thing that helps it get out of its own way. I see you have a 302 planned for it. Is that still so or are gas prices making the 2.3 look better these days?

I have everything I need to do a 302 swap but I'm holding off doing it right now because gas issue. I'm getting great mileage per gallon. I removed the A/C components, the sound deaden material in the hatch area and put 38 psi in the tires.

I love driving this car. I welded in some sub frame connectors and the car feels solid now and stopped my door rattles.

yep like they said 3.73 non trac loc for autos and 3.45 non trac loc for 5 spds. But I am curious why hold off on the 302 swap? My 5L in stock form was managing 28mpg on the highway. Hell my 2.3 was maybe 23-25mpg. My 5.0L actually did better as long as I didnt floor it all the time. But then again I was always flooring my 2.3 when I switched between the 5L and the 2.3. Because the 2.3 floored felt like regular acceleration in my 5l :rlaugh:
