question. IIRC, changing to a 7 tooth gear drive, red 21 tooth gear, and 3.73's out back will make the speedo 100% accurate. is this correct?

Yep, you are correct. Just looked it up in the FRPP catalog 21 external with a 7 internal. The white 23 tooth external gear is for those of us with the stock 8 tooth internal gear.

Yep, you are correct.

I have the 7 and the 20 with 3.55 gears and the speedo is perfect. I would think the 21 would be for 3.73 as stated above. Swapped out the 8 for a 7 since the clutch was being replaced. Now I don't have to wonder when the 23 tooth gear will get chewed up.

I have a 7 and 21 combo with my 3.73's and it's right on.
