Hello Everyone!!

I'm new to the forums and wanted to show off my latest project, I'm working on a full restomod on a 1970 Coupe , I've got the suspension completely redone and the front brakes converted to disk via a Master Power conversion kit (missing a lot of parts when it arrived). I've got a 351C in the machine shop at the moment and I was curious if anyone has used the crane kit to convert the stamped rocker arms to roler rockers. I'll be running a pretty high lift cam and matching springs with one piece stainless valves making about 400hp (guestimate) will the stock valve train hold up and if not is the crane conversion kit a good option?

Thanks Shotsy

Wether on not the valvetrain will hold up will depend on just how agressive the cam is, how heavy of vavle spring you run, and just how high you plan on reving the thing...

I think the crane conversion kit would be a great idea.

My only advice: Don't overdo it.. Lots of power is fun and all... but it sucks when the car won't idle properly, or when power brakes don't work right because of lack of vacum. Take it from someone who has learned the hard way... your only using that power for a fraction of the driving time, but you have to deal with the drawbacks constantly..

Picking up the motor today

I'm getting the motor back from the machine shop today, I'll post the cam specs spring rate etc. as well as some pics this afternoon!! I cant wait!

-- update, got the motor back from the machine shop and went nuts on summit with the CC check the parts list here 351C 2v parts

how does this setup look for 400 HP @ 6800 rpm, just wondering if 2000 rpm stall converter will be enough?
