72 mustang 302 wanting T-5

i want to put a T-5 behind my 302 but i have no idea what spline or year,make,model to fid the right one to fit my app. HELP!!!!!!

Best bet is to look for one from a foxbody 83..ish to 93ish?? You want a V8 t-5. Look around on craigslist and before you purchase be sure to run the numbers on the tag attached to trans.
