ok i got my stang about wired up but i was wondering if anyone can tell me on their car what colar wires they have going to the posts on their starter sol. i cant seem to get power from the key to mine i ended up using a screwdriver to start it. thnx a bunch guys

I am not home so I can't look at my wiring diagram, but I do have the list I posted on my website from when I rewired my stang using a EZ wire 21 circuit kit.

look at the part that says ignition switch wiring.

so went out to check the stang out i have the red/green wire on the post closest to the front and the other post is a dark color wire. but still no crank. is there a ground somewhere i might not have connected or a fuse? any help is great i would like to beable to get it turn key again. thanx

I don't know the whole history with your car but the neutral safety switch got me this way after having the engine out. Would crank with the key on and the screwdriver across the terminals. With the key off, no crank at all. Fussed with the switch and away she went.

i never thought of that. thats located on my shifter right? cause as of now i dont have the shifter in the car at all. im glad i got some guys who can think out side the box for me. cause i just built my engine and ran it on a test stand and since its been in the car i cant get it to go.
