79 Hi beam shuts down one headlight

What makes you think this model came with a turbo?
The 1979 mustang did come from the factory with a turbo I believe but they have some distinct parts and I doubt someone would remove it.
If you plug in the vin number at foxchassis.com it may tell you if was actually a turbo model.
@FoxChasis may chime in here.
pretty nice mustang regardless :nice:
Because I checked the VIN before buying. It's 9FO2W303615 and W stands for turbocharged, according to a VIN checker.

9F02W303615, I mean. Mistyped 0 as O.
Yes, it is puzzling. I paid a mechanic to look at the car since I bought it remotely and he seemed to miss that the car is missing one of it's important features :D

A quick search didn't result in any replacement turbocharges. Any way to return this to factory condition? Does someone sell/make turbo kits for a 2.3 Lima?

Turbo would be on the passenger side of the engine, below the air intake duct. It is not uncommon for the original turbo to be missing from the early (1979-82) cars.
