Rubber on the rear end housing and poly to the body. I put In the SR Performance Complete Rear Control Arm Kit - Red from American Muscle. I will need to loosen and retighten them with the car on the ground then. I lock them down with the car in the air but I did have the rear end jacked up some but not loaded up. I will give that a try thank you .

A properly working posi-style rear end would be impossible to turn with one wheel on the ground. After rebuilding my T-loc, and doing the same test I could not spin the tire that was off the ground by hand. Depending on how long that aftermarket diff has been in the car, it may still be fresh enough to offer that resistance, and commensurately may make noise when cornering
As to why it didn't before, and now after the gear change, may be attributable to the taller gear making it harder for the inside tire to spin, by slowing it down.
