Just as the title says, when my windows are down halfway and I'm going around 70-80mph the windows shake like crazy. If I have the windows down and I shut my door it sounds like they are going to break. They are fine if up all they way. I know that there is something against the window at the top of the door (top part under the window....behind the door panel) but it doesn't look like it needs adjusting.....i might be and very well could be wrong. This is either: loose windows that need adjusting or its normal for these cars to have windows that shake all around. Any input?

If my windows are down just a bit to halfway they will shake and make noise.. all the way down or most of the way down there are no problems.. im think'n its probably normal.

I was verry surprised when I got my car everything is nice and tite and nothing rattles. The guy I got my car from was verry finiky with it and said he hated little noises and rattles so he spent a few days adjusting things and did new door pins and bushing's. I felt bad buying the car from him cause he didn't want to sell it but his wife made him and I knew it was his baby and he took really good care of it and never drove in the rain except if he was at work and it started to rain on his way home.

Its good too see I'm not the only one dealing with this problem. I'll play with the felt adjusters after I put the damplifier in and before I put the door panels back on.

Thanks everyone!

Riding around with the window half down is dangerous, the window half down in a side impact accident can possibly injure you, imagine it like a big knife cutting into the side of your neck,,,,, neck injury, or even death.... I always remembered that part of the academy when we went thru patrol driving, either ride with it all the way up or all the way down. the instructor must have said that phrase a million times ,, still to this day I live by that phrase, guess his method worked

I rarely drive around with the window part way with the exception of cigarette time. Then I'll roll it down about 1 inch to draw the smoke out.

Question though: Does this hardware kit from 50Resto have new felt pieces that were mentioned above?

Good point. Sometimes if I hit a bump I look into the rear view mirror to see if anything has fallen off the car....there are so many rattles: door panels, truck, windows, the super cool map light.......
