80mm pro-m and 75mm throttle body?

Do you guys think that this is better or worse. I have a 80mm maf shorty and I connected it to an elbow right off of my tb. Is there any problem with the meter being so close to the tb?

Where is your air filter mounted at?

Do you have any kind of intake piping?

I think it should be mounted close to the air filter.

I just have an elbow coming off of the throttlebody and the maf on the end of that. The air filter is connected to the meter as one unit.

I would think you would want some space between the two. Every car I have owned has had the MAF as far from the TB as possible. I remember reading something somewhere about backflow and intake pulses but the details escape me.
