How does this sort of thing happen to a car like that that is still relatively new. Makes me sick.

That price is so far off base. I think $500 is even a stretch there.

I dunno if you could even part that thing out for $500. Everything looks F'd.

Not worth saving IMO. Not worth more than any other Mustang shell in that condition. I'm sure a diehard Saleen collector will disagree though.

I'll agree that it's too far gone to save, but the wheels and front seats alone will bring more than $2000 on ebay if they're in halfway decent shape. Hell, the steering wheel center cap is worth $75-100 and a thrashed correct Momo wheel will bring $100.

I just don't get it. That was the best rustang you could get around the era, cost a pretty penny, and was a collector car from day one and that's what it comes to.

Wow, that's pretty beat. The seats look pretty nice though. I say it's worth saving. Not THAT bad really from some of the other crap i've seen out there.

That's a shame to see it in such a poor state but it doesn't look nearly as bad as some of the junk I've seen on craigslist.

Hmm... you would have to really want it and even if you did "restore" it, it wouldn't be a number's matching car so I don't know. A whole lot is missing.

How does it happen? An idiot gets a car.

I once watched a 93 Cobra go from a prestine low mile car to a junker. Waffle House cook got it and daily drove it, every time I saw it, it seemed to have more damage to it. I saw it quite often for about two years and the last time I saw it, well, it was just another ragged out rustang.
