I've been working on a friends 85 GT he just had a new Jaspers engine installed in it. It ran into some troubles. Everything is set Timing, idle, carb, etc... I changed the EGR valve, I pull a piece of the diaphram for the secondaries out of the vaccum passage. 1st problem is with EGR valve connected and at or about 2k rpm's it has a miss like a vaccum leak(did it with the old one). unplug the EGR and plug the line and the miss goes away... 2 It ahs a new fuel pump but sometimes it boggs as if a vapor lock condition is happening. I will be getting the car back on wendsday to correct these problems. any Ideas????
one other thing, The oil pressure gauge works itermit. I've tested with a manual gauge and pressure is fine...
