86-93 t5 driveshaft

I was wondering if a driveshaft from a 86-93 mustang will work on my t5?I try using my aode driveshaft but it will not go all the way in.Let me know

well it will work but you might want to get a spacer to make sure you have al the contact you need i recomend one from steeda.

I thought the driveshafts were the same for 87-95 with T5 or auto.
Could the splines on your aode driveshaft yoke be damaged or gauled? How much further does it need to go in to be able to bolt it to the pinion flange?
What I would do is swap the slip yoke from your old T5 driveshat and put it on the aode shaft, if the T5 one went all the way in without a problem. It should fit since they used the same u-joints and all.

no he only needs the spacer if he's using a fox t5, not the driveshaft
